Before leaving Makkah, a farewell tawaf is recommended for Umrah according to several scholars (obligatory for Hajj). Buy Zamzam water at the official airport points (5 l can, not deducted from checked weight). On the way back, recite the travel supplication, thank Allah and keep the good habits you gained.

Āyibūna tāʾibūna ʿābidūna li-rabbinā ḥāmidūn

Common mistakes

Zamzam in the suitcase: leaks and refusal at check-in. Buy the official sealed can.
Arriving at the airport without margin: 3 hours before the flight with the group.
